Jevan Araujo started IT’S SO CLEAN in 2009. In 2015 we shifted the whole company to polished concrete and epoxy floors. Today we run four permanent floor technicians and four on-call specialists serving Los Angeles and Orange County.
How We Got Here.
Jevan started IT’S SO CLEAN in 2009. For six years we polished marble, granite, and natural stone across the LA area.
In mid-2015, a general contractor friend called Jevan with a concrete floor project. We took the job. More concrete calls came. By early 2016, we had more concrete work on the calendar than everything else combined. Jevan shut down the stone division and put the whole company behind polished concrete and epoxy floors.
Eleven years later, we’ve polished floors for Public Storage, Long Beach Convention Center, VAST Aerospace, CVS Pharmacy plus dozens of warehouses, restaurants, offices, retail stores, and homes.
Three Things We Believe.
Nobody knows everything in this industry.
Every slab we polish has its own history. The concrete mix varies, the age varies, the pattern of prior spills and coatings varies. A twenty-year-old warehouse floor needs different prep than a new build.
We walk every floor before we quote it. We ask the property owner what’s been on it, what got spilled on it, what got dragged across it. Eleven years of pattern recognition helps us predict what we’ll find under an old coating. Pattern recognition doesn’t replace looking. Every job starts on the floor.
We don’t subcontract.
The technicians who worked our CVS Palisades job are the same technicians who show up on yours. When something goes wrong, we own it directly.
This costs us flexibility. We can’t scale by phone call when a new job comes in. We hire slowly and train each new technician on our equipment before we send them to a jobsite.
Cheap materials waste every dollar spent on labor.
Skip the moisture vapor barrier on the epoxy coat and the coating delaminates in two years. Use a bargain densifier and you get chalky spots inside twelve months.
We spec Euclid densifiers, Ameripolish sealers, MVP moisture barriers, and Boride diamond tooling on every job because we’ve seen what the alternatives look like at year three.

Jevan estimates every commercial job personally and works on-site for any project over 5,000 sqft.

Cheaper tools and materials exist. We’ve tried them. The finishes fail sooner and we get called back. Premium equipment and materials cost more per job and pay for themselves in fewer callbacks.
