IT’S SO CLEAN (“we,” “us”) operates itssoclean.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
When you request a quote. Our forms ask for your name, email address, phone number, project address, and details about the floor. You give us this on purpose, and we use it to price and schedule your work.
Automatically, when you visit. Our analytics record pages viewed, time on page, approximate location from IP address, device and browser type, and the site or search that sent you. We use Google Analytics for this.
Through advertising tools. We run advertising pixels from Google Ads and Meta. These place cookies that let us show ads to people who have visited the site. They also let those platforms recognize your device across other sites they serve ads on.
If you join our email list. Your email address and any name you provide go to Mailchimp, which stores them and records whether you open and click our messages.
What we do with it
- Prepare quotes and schedule site visits
- Contact you about a project you asked about
- Send marketing email, if you opted in
- Show ads to past visitors
- Understand which pages and campaigns bring in work
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your quote form details with other contractors, lead brokers, or marketing companies.
Our advertising pixels do transmit browsing data to the ad platforms named above. California law calls that “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can stop it by using the opt-out below or by blocking third-party cookies in your browser.
Who else touches your data
- Google for analytics and advertising
- Mailchimp for email marketing
- Google Ads and Meta for advertising
- Kinsta, our web host, which stores form submissions on its servers
Each has its own privacy policy governing what it does with the data.
How long we keep it
Quote requests stay in our records for 3 years so we can reference past work and warranty claims. Email list entries stay until you unsubscribe. Analytics data follows Google’s retention settings.
Your choices
Email. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. It works immediately.
Advertising cookies. Opt out of Google’s ad personalization at adssettings.google.com. Opt out of most other ad networks at optout.aboutads.info. Blocking third-party cookies in your browser also works.
Analytics. Google offers a browser opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Your records. Email us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We do not charge for this and we do not require a reason.
Do Not Track. Browsers send inconsistent Do Not Track signals and there is no agreed standard for honoring them, so we do not respond to them. The opt-outs above do work.
Children
This site is for people hiring a flooring contractor. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
Security
Form submissions travel over an encrypted connection and are stored on access-controlled servers. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. Do not send payment card numbers or government ID numbers through our forms. We never ask for them.
Changes
We will update the effective date at the top when this policy changes. Material changes will be noted on this page.
