Epoxy Floor – Aerospace Facility, Canoga Park
Two thousand square feet across several rooms of an aerospace facility, coated to a standard where the floor stops being a source of dust.

What we walked into
A fitted out facility waiting on its floor. White walled rooms with stainless casework and a viewing window between two of them, a corridor connecting them, and a slab still carrying adhesive residue and construction staining throughout.
What we did
Ground every room back to clean concrete, repaired what needed it, and coated in a light grey solid colour with anti-slip. Crew in full coveralls, because in a facility like this the dust you bring in matters as much as the dust you take out.
What made it difficult
Working room by room in a building that was being commissioned around us. Each space had to be ground, coated and left to cure without contaminating the next, which means sequencing rather than doing all the grinding then all the coating.
The result
A continuous light grey floor through the production rooms and the corridor that connects them. Sealed, cleanable, and no longer shedding anything into a space where that counts.
