Two thousand square feet of workshop floor at an auto shop in Santa Barbara, polished across three night shifts so the shop could keep trading through the day.

What we walked into
A working body shop with the spray booth and vehicle lifts already in and staying in. The slab was grey and mottled with the usual workshop history worked into it.
What we did
Brought the machines in after hours and polished around the fixed equipment, cutting in tight to the booth walls and the lift posts where the grinder could not pass.
What made it difficult
Night work sets the clock. Everything has to be in, done and cleared before the shop opens, which means the sequence is planned to the hour and there is no option to leave a section half-finished overnight.
The result
A clean reflective floor through the workshop with the booth and lifts untouched, and the shop trading normally the next morning.
