What we walked into
Carpet lifted out of a customer-facing front office, leaving heavy tan and brown adhesive smeared across the whole slab. The patterned wallpaper and the joinery stayed exactly where they were.
What we did
Ground the adhesive off and polished the slab underneath, working carefully to the wall line so the decorated walls were not marked.
What made it difficult
A small decorated room is all perimeter. The walls are finished, the paper cannot be touched, and there is no run-off space, so most of the work happens within a few feet of something that must not be damaged.
The result
A clean reflective floor in a reception space that customers see first, with the walls and joinery untouched.
