Polished Concrete – Public Storage, San Francisco Area
29,500 sqft of corridors, elevator lobbies and offices polished across multiple Public Storage locations in the San Francisco area.
Thirty-seven polished concrete floors, from a 400 square foot residential slab to a 35,000 square foot commercial job. Mostly offices, restaurants, convention space and retail, with a run of single-family houses among them. The work spans twenty-five cities — Santa Monica, Long Beach, Beverly Hills, Culver City and Northridge through to Santa Barbara, San Diego and out as far as Joshua Tree.
Polishing keeps the slab that is already there. Nothing is laid on top, so what you end up with depends on what the concrete was to begin with — and that is why every project below lists the square footage, the working days it took, and what the slab looked like before we started. Where a floor gave us trouble, that is written down as well.
