What we walked into
Three thousand square feet of combined warehouse and office in Gardena. Bare slab throughout, sound but open, with the office side needing to finish to the same standard as the warehouse.
What the client needed
One floor across two very different spaces, so the office side did not look like an afterthought.
What we did
We ground the whole area back to a consistent profile, warehouse and office together, then coated it in white. Running one specification across both spaces is what stops the transition showing at the doorway.
What made it difficult
Six days across warehouse and office. Two epoxy coats were needed to seal the floor once a machine shop, full of oil stains thruout the floor.
The result
A white epoxy floor that runs unbroken from the warehouse into the office, bouncing the strip lighting back up. Nothing at the threshold to show where one space ends.
