Industrial and commercial flooring in Gardena
Four Gardena floors, 14,800 square feet: two industrial warehouses, a commercial kitchen and the 85 Bakery. This is industrial South Bay, and almost everything we do here has to be finished around a business that is still running.
Gardena projects
Gardena is warehouses and food production. The 9,500 sq ft warehouse is the largest single floor we have done in the city, finished in seven working days. The bakery was phased, because a bakery cannot stop.
| Project | Finish | Area | On site |
|---|---|---|---|
| Industrial warehouse | Epoxy coating | 9,500 sq ft | 7 days |
| Industrial warehouse | Epoxy coating | 3,000 sq ft | 6 days |
| 85 Bakery | Polished concrete | 1,500 sq ft | Phased |
| Industrial kitchen | Epoxy coating | 800 sq ft | 4 days |
| 4 projects | 14,800 sq ft | 17 working days plus a phased bakery |
Each project has its own page with before and after photos, the finish and the day count.

What Gardena floors usually need
Warehouses
The 9,500 sq ft warehouse took seven working days, the 3,000 sq ft one took six. Square footage matters less than you would think: prep and cure times do not scale down, so a small floor is rarely much quicker than a medium one. What does change the number is how much repair the slab needs before anything goes on it.
Commercial kitchens and food production
Kitchen and food floors have to handle hot water, grease and daily washdown, and in a production space they usually need coving at the walls so nothing collects in the joint. The 800 sq ft industrial kitchen here took four working days. We schedule these around production, not the other way round.
Working in phases
The 85 Bakery floor was done in phases because a bakery cannot close. That means more mobilisations and more edges to tie in, so it costs more per square foot than doing it in one run. It is usually still cheaper than losing the trading days.
Slabs that have been worked hard
Industrial slabs in this area are often decades old, with cracks, patches and old coatings on top. Joint and crack repair comes first, then the finish. We will tell you what the slab needs before we quote a coating that would only sit on top of the problem.
We will look at the slab, tell you what it needs first, and quote the finish after.
What a Gardena floor costs
These are the ranges we actually quote. What moves a job up the range is the condition of the slab, not the size of it.
Commercial polished concrete
$3 to $12+ per sq ft
Slab condition and the gloss level you specify set the number.
Commercial epoxy
$6 to $15 per sq ft
The coating system and how deep the prep goes set the number.
Garage and residential epoxy
$6 to $15 per sq ft
A two-car garage typically lands at $1,800 to $4,500.
Grind and seal with restoration
$3 to $8 per sq ft
How much repair the slab needs first sets the number.
Minimum project size is 400 square feet. Quotes are free and done on site. We would rather look at the slab than guess at it over the phone.
Every budget is different. Tell us what you are working with and we will work out the best floor we can give you for it.
Common questions
How much does an industrial epoxy floor cost in Gardena?
Commercial epoxy runs $6 to $15 per square foot. Where you land depends on the coating system and how much prep and repair the slab needs first. Quotes are free and done on site.
Can you work around our production schedule?
Yes. The 85 Bakery floor was done in phases so the bakery kept trading, and we will work nights or weekends where that is the cheaper answer overall.
Our slab is cracked. Does it need replacing?
Rarely. Most cracked industrial slabs can be repaired and refinished for a fraction of replacement cost. We do joint and crack repair as part of the job, and we will tell you honestly if a slab is past saving.
How long does a warehouse floor take?
9,500 sq ft took seven working days. 3,000 sq ft took six. You get a day count before we start.
