Epoxy Coating – Los Angeles
Twelve days coating 2,500 sqft in an antique furniture store in Los Angeles.
| Location | Los Angeles, CA |

| Surface area | 2,500 sqft |

| Working area | Furniture Store |
| Duration | 12 Days |
| Scope | Epoxy Coating – Concrete Restoration |
What we walked into
Twenty-five hundred square feet of retail floor in a Los Angeles furniture store, with damage that went well past surface staining. Sections of the slab had been cut and filled, and what was left was a patchwork of levels and colours.
What the client needed
A retail floor good enough to show furniture on, in a building that was still a working store.
What we did
The repairs came first and took most of the twelve days. We cut out what could not be saved, filled and levelled the trenches and patches, and only then ground the whole floor to one profile before coating it.
What made it difficult
Twelve days on 2,500 sqft is our longest job per square foot because the amount of floor preparation faced to receive the new epoxy coating. The job was also splitted in two different phases due to furniture move out.
The result
A single continuous white retail floor with no evidence of the trenches that were there. Twelve days, and a surface that shows product rather than competing with it.
