What we walked into
A standard two-car home garage with the storage racking still up on the wall and the roll-up door opening straight onto the garden. The slab was plain, grey and unsealed.
What we did
Polished the slab in place over two days, working around the door track and the step at the side entrance rather than asking for the garage to be stripped out.
What made it difficult
Small garages are awkward simply because there is nowhere to put anything. The machine, the extractor and the hose all have to live in the same space you are polishing, so the work is done in sections and the kit gets shuffled around as you go.
The result
A dark, softly reflective floor that picks up the daylight coming through the open door. It cleans with a mop and there is no coating to lift where the car sits.
