Epoxy and polished concrete flooring in Redondo Beach
Redondo Beach is home. It is where the business is registered and where most mornings start, so if you are here you are five minutes away rather than an hour. Four local floors so far: three garages and a 2,500 square foot ballroom.
Redondo Beach projects
Three of the four are garages, one in each finish we offer, which makes this a useful page if you are trying to decide between them. The fourth is a ballroom, which is a very different kind of floor.
| Project | Finish | Area | On site |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ballroom | Epoxy coating | 2,500 sq ft | 8 days |
| Garage | Metallic epoxy | 400 sq ft | 3 days |
| Garage | Flake epoxy | 400 sq ft | 2 days |
| Garage | Polished concrete | 400 sq ft | 2 days |
| 4 projects | 3,700 sq ft | 15 working days |
Each project has its own page with before and after photos, the finish and the day count.
Redondo Beach floors, finished
Three garages, three finishes
Flake epoxy
The most common choice, and the one we would suggest for most garages. Coloured flake broadcast into the coating hides dust and tyre marks, gives grip when the floor is wet, and takes a hose. Two working days for a standard two-car slab.
Metallic epoxy
Poured and worked so the pigment moves, which gives a floor with real depth rather than a flat colour. It costs more, takes three days rather than two, and it is worth it in a garage you actually spend time in. Less practical under a work vehicle.
Polished concrete
No coating at all. We grind the existing slab back and refine it until it shines, so there is nothing on top that can peel or chip. It suits a sound slab and it lasts longest of the three. Two working days.
Bigger rooms
The ballroom on this page was 2,500 sq ft over eight working days, on a floor that had to take furniture, heels and cleaning. Not everything here is a garage, and the same crew does both.
Cannot decide? We will come out, look at your slab and tell you which of the three actually suits it. Free, and usually about twenty minutes.
What a Redondo Beach floor costs
These are the ranges we actually quote. What moves a job up the range is the condition of the slab, not the size of it.
Commercial polished concrete
$3 to $12+ per sq ft
Slab condition and the gloss level you specify set the number.
Commercial epoxy
$6 to $15 per sq ft
The coating system and how deep the prep goes set the number.
Garage and residential epoxy
$6 to $15 per sq ft
A two-car garage typically lands at $1,800 to $4,500.
Grind and seal with restoration
$3 to $8 per sq ft
How much repair the slab needs first sets the number.
Minimum project size is 400 square feet. Quotes are free and done on site. We would rather look at the slab than guess at it over the phone.
Every budget is different. Tell us what you are working with and we will work out the best floor we can give you for it.
Common questions
How much is a two-car garage in Redondo Beach?
Typically $1,800 to $4,500, which is $6 to $15 per square foot. Flake epoxy sits at the lower end, metallic at the higher. Polished concrete on a sound slab is often competitive with both.
Which finish should I pick for my garage?
Flake epoxy for most people: it hides dust, it grips when wet and it is the cheapest of the three. Metallic if the garage is somewhere you spend time. Polished concrete if your slab is in good shape and you want something with nothing on top to fail.
You are local. Does that change anything?
It changes response time. The business is registered here, so a site visit in Redondo Beach usually happens within a day or two rather than being scheduled around a drive across the county.
How long before I can park on it?
Two to three working days on site. We give you separate numbers for foot traffic and vehicle traffic before we start.
What else do you cover nearby?
Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, Torrance, Palos Verdes, El Segundo, Gardena and the rest of the South Bay. See the full service area.
Are you licensed?
CSLB #1071609. Licensed, bonded and insured.
