Jevan Araujo, owner, IT’S SO CLEAN CSLB #1071609
Four hundred square feet of office space at the Long Beach Convention Center, taken back from an adhesive-covered slab in two working days.
| Location | Long Beach, CA |

| Working area | Office space |
| Duration | 2 Working Days |
| Scope | Adhesive Removal and Full Polished Concrete |
What we walked into
A small office with the old floor covering gone and dark adhesive left across the whole slab, almost black in places. Underneath it the concrete turned out to be heavily cracked.
What we did
Ground the adhesive off, worked the slab up through the grits and left the cracking visible rather than filling and disguising it.
What made it difficult
On a floor this size there is nowhere to hide a bad decision – the whole thing is visible from the doorway in one look. The cracking runs right across it, so the finish had to be even enough that the cracks read as the floor is character rather than as a failure.
The result
A light polished floor in a room that started almost black, with the crack pattern showing through as part of the surface.
