Most of our work is Los Angeles and Orange County, and that is where the pricing on this site assumes you are. Beyond that, travel and accommodation start to matter, so the job has to be big enough to carry them. These eleven were.

How travel jobs work
Size is what makes it work
A crew, a machine and a week away from home have to be paid for by the floor. As a rough guide, anything over about 5,000 square feet outside the two counties is usually worth a conversation. Below that the travel starts to dominate the quote and you are better served by someone local, and we will tell you so.
Nights, when that is cheaper for you
Both Santa Barbara auto shops and the KB Home office in Santa Clarita were run on night shifts. If your building cannot lose trading hours, a night shift often costs less overall than the days you would lose working around us. We price both ways and let you choose.
Almost all of it is polished concrete
Every floor on this page is polished. That is not a coincidence: the buildings that justify the drive tend to be warehouses, showrooms and retail, and those floors want a finish with nothing on top to peel under traffic. A polish also needs no return visit to recoat in five years, which matters more when we are three hours away.

Travel and accommodation are in the number we give you, itemised, so you can see what the distance is actually costing. No surprises at invoice.

What a floor outside the two counties costs
The per-square-foot ranges below are the same ones we quote locally. On a travel job, transport and accommodation are added on top and itemised separately, so you can see exactly what the distance costs.
Commercial polished concrete
$3 to $12+ per sq ft
Slab condition and the gloss level you specify set the number.
Commercial epoxy
$6 to $15 per sq ft
The coating system and how deep the prep goes set the number.
Garage and residential epoxy
$6 to $15 per sq ft
A two-car garage typically lands at $1,800 to $4,500.
Grind and seal with restoration
$3 to $8 per sq ft
How much repair the slab needs first sets the number.
Minimum project size is 400 square feet. Quotes are free and done on site. We would rather look at the slab than guess at it over the phone.

Common questions
How far will you travel?
We have worked as far as the Bay Area, San Diego and Joshua Tree. Distance is not really the limit; the size of the floor is. Over about 5,000 square feet it usually makes sense.
Does travel make it much more expensive?
Per square foot, less than people expect on a large floor, because the travel cost is spread across the whole job. On a small floor it dominates, which is why we will point you to someone local instead.
Can you work nights so we do not lose trading days?
Yes, and on travel jobs it is often the cheaper option overall. Three of the projects on this page were run on night shifts.
What was the biggest floor you have done?
35,000 square feet at a warehouse in Cerritos, over 30 working days. The Bay Area Public Storage was 29,500 square feet over 45 days.
